As a group you will understand what you are doing here, how this training can be useful and the rules of the game.

As a group, you will see yourself with a new lens that makes you a better friend of yourself.

BEFORE WISHING, BE AWARE

Meet your wandering mind.

90% of the things that worry you never happen.

Deepen your awareness of the present moment using your senses and your new lenses.

As a group you will experience, using different senses and modalities, how it feels to be in what is happening in the present moment rather than being in what happened or what could happen.

BEFORE WISHING, A LOVING WARM UP

Have you ever been to a gym where you exercise with weights of 2 kg of love, 3 kg of warmth or 1kg of self care?

Believe me, it feels good!

Maybe you are thinking that if you are nice to yourself you will end up just lying around all day with Netflix series and You Tube videos, right?

We know from research that teens who are kinder to themselves are actually more motivated to get stuff done.

As a group you will experience how does it feel to treat yourself as you would treat your best friend. Being kind to yourself in all moments of life, the easy and difficult, can be surprising.

BEFORE WISHING, MEET YOUR BRAIN

Your brain is the cause of how you react sometimes.

How would it be to choose your thoughts in the morning the same way you choose your outfit?

As a group you will understand the interplay between stress, adolescent brain development and emotion regulation.

You will experience new ways to navigate the stressors you inevitably encounter.

BEFORE WISHING, DEFOG YOUR MIRROR

Do you like what you see in the mirror?

Have you already met your inner-critic?

There is another inner voice you can turn up: Your Compassionate Voice.

You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

As a group you will experience self-compassion as an antidote to self-criticism, a universal source of suffering.

As a teen you are figuring out who you are and where you belong. Comparison and social media can leave your self-esteem on shaky ground.

Self-Compassion can provide you with a steady and reliable inner resource as you navigate these challenges.

BEFORE WISHING, CHOOSE YOUR COMPASS

Novelty and risks are part of your teen journey.

Have you thought about what matters most to you?

These values can be the inner compass to guide you home when you have wandered too far or feel lost.

As a group, you will explore core values as the values you believe are the most important to the way you live your life.

Knowing “What you really need in your life” as a way of caring for yourself in a more personalized and truthful way.

BEFORE WISHING, BE IN THE ZONE

When you are happy, feel good. When you are sad or angry, feel bad.

Are you avoiding difficult emotions because you feel you can´t deal with them?

Well this happens to most teens because our culture is full of hidden messages about avoiding negative emotions.

Learning how to navigate strong emotions is in the heart of self-compassion training: “You cannot ignore your pain and feel compassion for it at the same time”.

As a group, you will learn how to navigate challenging emotions. You will explore several strategies to become aware of your emotions and look beneath these strong emotions to see what really hurts and what it is you most need.

As a group we will close the program highlighting the values of gratitude and self-appreciation as inner resources that can support you in building strength and resilience.

We will celebrate what we have learned and experienced together as it will be key in making your wishes come true.
